Based in Rumson NJ, Red Clover Designs is a full service interior design firm servicing clients throughout New Jersey. Karin Kelly, Owner and Principal Designer, started Red Clover Designs in 2021 with the intention of assisting clients in uncovering, updating and elevating their unique styles, while creating timeless looks that they will love for years to come.
Karin credits her design style to her experiences growing up at the Jersey Shore, as well as her frequent travels to New England. She spent many of her childhood summers running through red clover fields on her father’s farm in Vermont, and still visits New England as frequently as her schedule will allow. She draws inspiration from everything the area has to offer – antique shops, galleries, quaint farmhouses, and the beauty of nature.
Before starting Red Clover Designs, Karin worked in HR/Recruiting for a contract furniture manufacturer. She always had a passion for interior planning and design and in 2019, she began studying ID at a local community college, while gaining invaluable experience working for a reputable Design Center and collaborating with several talented local designers.
When Karin is not working at creating spaces for her clients, she enjoys skiing, gardening, lounging at the beach, and spending time with her family.
With a background in project management and operations, Emilie Reed supports Red Clover Designs by managing the behind-the-scenes details that bring each project to life. She helps ensure that every project runs smoothly and efficiently, using her many years of experience managing timelines, coordinating vendors, tracking budgets, and keeping communication clear. Her organized, proactive approach allows the designers to focus fully on their creative vision. Her goal is to help make every project feel seamless, supported, and enjoyable from start to finish. Emilie is a mom to three young boys and two loyal dogs whom she adores. When she isn’t busy working or chasing kids, Emilie can be found watching professional sports, entertaining friends or planning the next great family vacation.
